"Spectral Sojourn" | Animation by Samantha Cosgrove & Jalen Cooper

The initial draft of this animation was completed in roughly 36 hours during Tallgrass Film Association's Take36 film competition in August 2021. The elements that we needed to include were: A candy prop, a silhouette shot, the concept "Run", and the line of dialogue "How do you spell Mississippi?"

After the competition, we spent the next 3-4 months polishing the animation, and this is the result! My contributions were: co-leading/art direction, writing, storyboards, character design, animation, rigging, and editing.
